A handbill from T. Winslade, Illuminator to the Royal Gardens, Vauxhall, who 'begs to inform the nobility, gentry, corporations etc.', that he is prepared 'to execute illumination work to any extent ... artists being ready at all times to take drawings, design and execute orders'. His newly-invented crystal devices 'can be kept alight in a gale of wind' and could be seen by applying to Mr Stevens at Royal Vauxhall Gardens.
