Detail of an indenture dated 1822 between the Archbishop of Canterbury and Henry Buckley, a floorcloth manufacturer in Westminster Bridge Road, Lambeth. The plan shows premises between Felix Street, Mason Street, Stangate and Lambeth Marsh. The Buckley's manufactory was the largest of its kind in London for the production of floorcloths, a painted and sealed canvas covering popular in Georgian and Regency homes.
