An advert for the Clapham Electric Palace Cinema in Venn Street. Designed by Gilbert Booth, the cinema opened in 1910 and was enlarged in 1919 with a proposed name change to The Coliseum. However, due to financial difficulties, the rebuilding was not completed and the cinema closed. After many decades of assorted commercial uses, the building was reopened as the Clapham Picture House in 1990.
