The site of Brockwell Park, Herne Hill, seen from Knight's Hill. Titled, 'A movement is now on foot to buy this land, and keep it as a puplic park for the people'. The land was eventually acquired in March 1891 by the London County Council and the park created. From The Graphic, June 8th 1889.
