STREATHAM METHODIST CHURCH, STREATHAM HIGH ROAD

The Streatham Methodist Church on Streatham High Road, Streatham Hill, was built by architect Charles Bell at a cost of over £10,000. Designed to accommodate 1,000 people it had a tower of 160ft with a 90ft nave. It was demolished in 1967 and replaced by shops with flats above. From: The Building News, 13th January 1882
