A page from the Streatham Roll of Honour, 1914-18, recording the 744 men associated with Streatham who were killed during World War I. Those listed here include; Leslie Stuttle killed in Palestine, Raymond Stockbridge killed Paschendale Ridge, Hubert Sutton killed at Gallipoli and Frank Swaisland killed at Ypres. Entries within also include one for Jack Arthur Pegram, 2nd Lieut Royal Naval Air Force killed in combat with Gothas over the North Sea. Medals awarded to Streatham men included, 13 Military Crosses (awarded to officers), 5 Military Medals (mostly to non-commissioned officers) and 3 DSOs.
