A plan showing 11 acres of 'valuable freehold land' between Rosendale Road and Croxted Lane [Road] to be put up for auction by the London, Brighton and South Coast Railway Company on 27th July 1885. The site was redeveloped as Guernsey Grove and Hawarden Grove.From 'History and Antiquities of Camberwell' by W.H.Blanch, with additions by W.F.Noble.
