An urgent appeal brochure for funds to create Norwood Park. The text notes: 'this site which adjoins the residences of a large working class population, contains 31 acres and the price, £15,000, asked for the freehold by the Ecclesiastical Commissioners is only half it's estimated value as building land. Half the cost came from the LCC, Lambeth Council gave £4,000 and the deficit was raised by donations.
