A colour-coded plan showing the proposed stages for the creation of Larkhall Park. Red indicates the first stage with council-owned properties all cleared and site approved for the park, dated 4th November 1966. Blue is council-owned but not vacated, with sheriff's action probably necessary to evict tenants. Yellow indicates the programmed third stage for the development of the open space with compulsory purchase orders to be served under Acquisition of Land Act 1946. The outline defines the total area planned for the park by the Greater London Council.
