A perspective of proposed housing at Shirley Oaks, Croydon. Begun in 1904 for the Bermondsey Board of Guardians to provide homes and a school for children, control the site was passed to the LCC in 1949 and then to Lambeth Council in1965. Transparency from Borough Development Directorate files.
