The artist Brian Barnes showing details of his Nuclear Dawn mural to a Soviet Peace Delegation from Moscow. The visit was organised by London CND and Lambeth Council's Peace & Nuclear Affairs Unit. The Russian delegation was led by Nikolay Kartashov, Director of the Lenin Library, and included, Fedor Sklokin a Senior Researcher Moscow's Institute of Steel; Valentina Kravtsova a Rector of a Co-operative Institute; Nina Grachova a doctor at Moscow Hospital No.6; Vasiliy Novitski a priest in the Russian Orthodox Church and Vladimir Smirnov a Member of the Moscow Peace Committee.
