BRIXTON ACTRESS MARGARET LEAHY

Miss Margaret Leahy the winner of the Daily Sketch film competition when aged 20. She went to America and made one film, 'The Three Ages', before returning to Britain. The former manager of a milliners in Electric Avenue had a short-lived film career working on one other movie when she went to France in 1923 to act in 'The Butterfly of Paris'.
