A notice advertising a meeting to be held at the Brixton Palladium to propose a 'Social Club' for ex-servicemen and as a memorial to those killed in World War I. Speakers listed include Christobel Pankhurst and Stephen Kelley. After the meeting, attendees did question the relevance of Miss Pankhurst's speech. From Brixton Free Press, dated 31st January 1919.
