Aerial view of Norwood with the cemetery partly visible on the right. The Jewish Orphanage seen in the lower centre was replaced by Norwood Hall. The Royal Circus on the left still exists with the Old People's Home (Tonge House) in the centre. The Portal family owned a large section of this area which included the home set up by the Portal Trust c.1936.
