THE FOLLY, PARK HILL, STREATHAM COMMON

The Folly at Park Hill, Streatham. This imitation mediaeval tower is thought to have been built by Henry Tate, the sugar magnate (Tate and Lyle), in 1870 as a viewing tower overlooking the Streatham area.
