Stockwell Training College in Stockwell Road, seen from the tennis courts. The college trained school mistresses and had practising schools attached. It is now replaced by Stockwell Gardens Estate, a large LCC residential complex of five storey apartment blocks built in the 1930s. A photographic postcard published by L.E.
