The Stockwell Training College seen from Stockwell Road. The college trained school mistresses and had practising schools attached. It is now replaced by Stockwell Gardens Estate, a large LCC residential complex of five-storey apartment blocks built in the 1930s. A photographic postcard published by L.E.
