Miss Winifred Atwell at the Toys for Christmas Appeal held at the Granada, Brixton. The manager recalled, 'Miss Atwell produced a large and beautiful doll of the type that walks and talks as her own personal gift'. The doll was presented to Beverley Sheehan of Somerleyton Road, Brixton, the first baby born on Christmas Day in Lambeth. From an album collated by Ken Legg, the manager of the Granada, Brighton Terrace, Brixton. Dated 12th December 1959.
