Contestants on the television talent show Generation Game with presenters including Bruce Forsyth. Sandra Manning recalls, 'I think the girl at the right of the photo was Jennifer, the Chairman's secretary at Edelmans [advertising agency].  She could make flowers from Kleenex facial tissues [a client], hence it was good product placement.  I think the corsage you can just see is made of paper.' Manning Photographers was founded in the late 1940s by James Manning, who was later joined by his son Frank. The studio operated from 1952 onwards in Windmill Row, Kennington and continued until 2022.
