St Stephen's church in St Stephen's Terrace, South Lambeth. The church opened in 1861 to designs by architect John Bennett and could accommodate 1,200 parishioners. It was demolished in 1967 and replaced by a rather austere brick structure. ID: IV/362/Box127

Manning Photographers was founded in the late 1940s by James Manning, who was later joined by his son Frank. The studio operated from 1952 onwards in Windmill Row, Kennington and continued until 2022. Their extensive photographic archive of approximately 500,000 images was gifted to Lambeth Archives by Frank & Sandra Manning.
