10-16 Old Town Clapham, an 1840s terrace of shops including F.Thomas & Co., automobile accessories. The coat of arms on the central building is that of the Bowyer and Stonhouse families and supposedly came from the old Manor House. The Georgian house c.1795, on the left was the home of John Reeves (1774-1856) a tea-broker and naturalist who introduced Wisteria sinensis from China, along with other ornamental plants.
