One of the largest UK mobile truck cranes being assembled at Vauxhall Cross to remove the damaged crane jib at St George Wharf Tower after a helicopter collision in dense fog on the morning of 16th January 2013. This was the first fatal helicopter crash in central London since 1976 when records began - fatalities were the pilot, Pete Barnes and a pedestrian, Matthew Wood. Digital photograph by Stefan Lorett, who at the time worked adjacent to the Tower at LASSCO in Brunswick House. ID: D2026/1/2
