NECROPOLIS RAILWAY STATION, WATERLOO: WORLD WAR II INCIDENT

Bomb damaged Necropolis Station at Waterloo, looking towards Westminster Bridge Road, as seen in 1950. The station was bombed during a raid in May 1941. Trains from here were used to take corteges and coffins to Brookwood Cemetery in Surrey.
