Manor House, Kennington. Showing the lodge that replaced the original royal palace. The stables existed until the begining of the 19th century and was known as 'The Long Barn'. They were demolished in 1875. The land is part of the estate of the Prince of Wales (Duchy of Cornwall).Engraving and article in The Illustrated London News, June 16 1852.
