The Revd. John Wesley (1703 -1791). Evangelist and founder of the Methodist Church who published many prayers and hymns. He was a regular visitor to George Wolff's house at Balham during the 1780s. Engraved by Ridley from an original drawing by Edridge, published March 1792.
