Vauxhall Gardens, Vauxhall. Article and engravings on attractions in the Gardens. The main feature showing the night ascent of Mr.Green's balloon seen by the aid of the 'Electric Light' at the back of the spectator's gallery. The pleasure gardens are now marked by Tyers Street and Spring Gardens, renamed Vauxhall Pleasure Gardens in 2012. Cutting from The Illustrated London News, August 25th 1849.
