The Crystal Palace, Sydenham Hill. The formal opening of the Exhibition held at the new venue of The Palace, by Queen Victoria on June 10th 1854 . Her Majesty was accompanied by the Prince Consort and their children, The King of Portugal and his brother the Duke of Oporto. Engraving by unknown artist published in a book by Hudson & Kearns Ltd. for the auction on Tuesday 28th November 1911.
