Royal Victoria Coffee House, Waterloo Road. Handbill advertising a temperance talk by Edward Payson West. These premises were leased in 1881 by Emma Cons who initiated the Coffee Tavern movement. Opened as a respectable establishment for entertainment and soft drinks, it is now The Old Vic Theatre.
