NORWOOD HIGH STREET, WEST NORWOOD

Norwood High Street seen across the forecourt of St.Luke's Church, from the start of Knight's Hill. The four Georgian houses across the road were destroyed by a flying bomb in 1944. No.1 on the left was occupied by Mr. Honey, a solictor, with Clayton & Hopkins, chimney sweepers, next door at No.3. Notice on the bottom left foreground for horse-vehicle drivers going up the hill.
