Rev. Bernard Snell with his dog. Minister at the Brixton Independent Church from 1891, one of the main South London Nonconformist churches in the early 20th century. An eloquent preacher and organiser, he was involved in the missionary work at The Moffat Institute in Vauxhall Street.
