BRYNBELLA, STREATHAM HIGH ROAD, STREATHAM CENTRAL

One of the large 19th century mansions that used to flank Streatham High Road before the development of the 1030's. The house was situated by Woodleigh Gardens and was demolished in 1938. The name 'Brynbella' was taken from the house occupied by Hester Piozzi (Thrale) in Cllwyd Wales.
