MAGDALEN CHAPEL, DREWSTEAD ROAD, STREATHAM HILL

The chapel was part of the Magdalen Hospital which was moved to Drewstead Road, Streatham Hill in 1869. Designed by Henry Currey, the hospital housed 'penitent prostitutes', later becoming a school for female offenders and closing in 1966.
