BEAUFOY VINEGAR WORKS, SOUTH LAMBETH ROAD, SOUTH LAMBETH

The bell tower on the Vat Building at Beaufoy British Vinegars Ltd., No. 87 South Lambeth Road. The works originally were built by John Hanbury Beaufoy when Beaufoy's Vinegar Works were relocated here from the site of Waterloo Bridge in 1810. The cupola bell is inscribed 'Thomas Mears London Founder 1843'.Published in the 'Lambeth Guide', 1951.
