ROYAL UNIVERSAL INFIRMARY FOR CHILDREN, WATERLOO

The charity was founded in 1810 by the late Dr. J. B. Davis. The foundation stone was laid by His Royal Highness the duke of York on the 19th July, 1823; and on the 4th October, 1824. The Infirmary was funded by voluntary subscriptions. Later named the Royal Waterloo Hospital.
