112 to 120 WANDSWORTH ROAD, LAMBETH SOUTH

112 to 120 Wandsworth Road. These shops and the large building behind them, no longer in existence, are now the site of the social housing development centred around Heman Street that started in the mid 1930s. Note the shop next to the tobacconist on the left advertising pea soup, stewed and jellied eels, rarely seen in shops today.
