Dick Sheppard School, the L.C.C. secondary school for girls opened in Tulse Hill in September 1955. Considered to be a modern school with all the latest equipment, this view shows a typical classroom. The school was closed down in 1994 and the site redeveloped for private housing. Photograph published in The Sphere, August 20th 1955.
