Hester Thrale, later Hester Lynch Piozzi (1741 - 1821), married Henry Thrale in 1763 and later in 1784 Gabriel Piozzi, an Italian musician. Known for her friendship with Dr. Samuel Johnson and her writings about him while at Streatham Park.Engraving after a painting by Sir Joshua Reynolds, from 'Dr Johnson's Mrs Thrale', edited by A.
