World War II capaign medals awarded to Ernest Dare. The left-hand medal is the France and Germany Star and the right-hand is the 1939-45 Star. Mr Dare was initially involved with the clearing of mines from the beaches of Northern France and advanced into Germany where he was assigned to the post of Chief Electrician at Spandau and the Agatha Hospital.Digital image by kind permission of Mrs M Dare.
