ASHTRAY FROM RECYCLED AIRCRAFT PARTS: WORLD WAR II

An aluminium Wellington bomber ashtray made by Corporal Charles Gower of Madiera Road, Streatham. They now are collectable examples of 'War Art'.Digital image by kind permission of Graham Gower. From the Lambeth Archives Home Front project 2005.
