Thomas Arundel was the son of Richard, Earl of Arundel and became Archbishop of Canterbury on 19th February 1397. He was charged with high treason by Richard II and had his possessions seized, only to be later reinstated as Archbishop and to crown King Henry IV. He died 22nd November 1413.
