The famous street market of Lambeth Walk was redeveloped c.1970 by Lambeth Council as a shopping precinct with flats above in an architecture style typical of the period, however the western side was demolished and replaced with better quality housing in the early 21st century.Digital image courtesy of Penelope Gretton.
