STREATHAM CHORAL SOCIETY & ORCHESTRA, STREATHAM BATHS HALL

The West Streatham Choral Society and Streatham Orchestra during a dress rehearsal at Streatham Baths Hall on 5th December 1949. The central figure is the R.F.Ranson the conductor. The Baths were opened in 1927 and the swimming pool was converted in winter into a dance hall, complete with platform, sprung dance-floor and special lighting effects.
