ELM COTTAGE, KNIGHT’S HILL, WEST NORWOOD

Elm Cottage, Knight's Hill, seen from the garden front and annotated 'as it was 1862-1880'. The 'cottage' was adjacent to The Horns public house and the gardens were truncated by the building of the railway. In the 1880s the site was redeveloped with new housing, the original Norwood Library and Post Office.
