FINCK STREET, LAMBETH

Looking north-west along Finck Street towards County Hall. The terraced houses were demolished for the development of the St Thomas's Estate, which also involved re-aligning Lambeth Palace Road and constructing ancillary buildings for the hospital. Part of the street survived until the early 1970s.Photographed by Mr Larner, surveyor to the estate 1959-60.
