HOLLOWAY BROS, BELVEDERE ROAD, WATERLOO

The premises of Holloway Brothers, builders and contractors in Belvedere Road Waterloo, awaiting demolition. Although these joiners shops and offices were constructed only 15 years earlier in 1899, the site was acquired by the London County Council for County Hall - seen under construction behind, on the site of Mr Peter Brotherhood's premises. The building glimpsed on the right was part of the L.C.C. Works Department.Photograph by Bedford Lemere & Co. dated 1915.
