Original artwork for a Gay Pride Week disco and cabaret held at Lambeth Town Hall on 30th June 1978. The broom 'sweepings' include anti-gay campaigners Mary Whitehouse and Anita Bryant. There was a Gay Centre in Brixton from 1972 as well as gay squats around Mayall and Railton Roads. The South London Gay Liberation Front also held some of its early meetings at the Minet Library.
