Streatham Hill College was at 35 Streatham Hill. Built as a house c.1826, the school was founded by Ernest Blackwell in 1895 as a prep school for 'the sons of gentlemen'. It expanded after World War I to include the adjacent house at No.33. The school was closed in 1936, demolished soon afterwards and replaced by 'Corner Fields', a block of luxury flats.
