GRAFFITI, RALEIGH HOUSE, WINDRUSH SQUARE, BRIXTON

An example of poster graffiti, featuring Snow White clutching a bloody heart, on Raleigh House facing Windrush Square, Brixton. The building, originally a pair of houses built in c.1810, was once used as a Liberal Club, a public hall, a private school, industrial workshops, and after a period of neglect, is about to be restored with funding from the Heritage Lottery Fund as the Black Cultural Archives.
