Nos 2&4 Hercules Road, Lambeth, a corner shop and the showroom for C.P.Hart the bathroom suppliers, who have since relocated to the adajcent railway arches in Newnham Terrace. The Central Office of Information (left) was established in 1946 to replace the wartime Ministry of Information. It has been responsible for public service campaigns such as; Coughs and Sneezes Spread Diseases, Keep Britain Tidy, Green Cross Man, AIDS and Back the Bid - for the 2012 London Olympics.Photograph by Sam Lambert.
