ST SAVIOUR’S, HERNE HILL ROAD

St Saviour's in Herne Hill Road, Herne Hill, was consecrated by the Bishop of Winchester in 1867. It was designed by A.D. Gough (1804-71) with a chancel and transept added later by W. Gibbs Bartleet. The church was declared redundant in 1973 and subequently demolished in 1982 with the congregation relocating into a nearby church hall.
